Games to build skills and reasoning
Often times, games that we play at home help to build both skills such as addition and reasoning. Consider playing these games:
Connect 4, Mancala, Dominoes
Toss Up, Yahtzee, Bunco, 99
Cribbage, Mastermind, Battleship
The classic game of War can be played in its traditional way to compare numbers, but consider flipping two cards per player which need to be added, subtracted, multiplied or divided then the result compared.
Creation and Innovation in our Makerspaces!
Wonder what Makerspaces are? Makerspaces are simply places for people to gather and work together with the tools necessary to design, prototype, and create works which wouldn’t be possible with the resources of the individuals alone. These spaces represent the phenomena of everyone now being able to invent and create, not just those at universities or in the engineering profession.
